Biography: Hiroki Toyoda is an associate professor of Oral Physiology at the Osaka University Graduate School of Dentistry. He earned his Ph.D. degree in Physiology from Hamamatsu University School of Medicine. He received his postdoctoral training at University of Toronto. Research Interests: Dr. Toyoda’s research interests are cellular and molecular mechanisms of synaptic plasticity and implications of these plastic changes in physiological and pathological conditions. They include orofacial pain, sensation and movement.
